Default How often do you buy scratch off tickets?

I find myself buying a scratch off ticket or two almost every time I go to the store, which is around 3 times a week. So I'm spending on average about $15-30 a week. And I usually either dont win anything or I only win a couple bucks back.

If you can bring yourself to BURN that $3/week, you will be better off mentally. Statistically, you'll come out about the same, dollar-wise.

Whatever. Most people couldn't bring themselves to burn $1 and that's the problem. Pop quiz: what is the root of all evil?

It would be more impressive if he was burning $100's not $1's and $5's...

Put that $15-30 a week into an investment...buy a cheap stock once a week. See where you are after 12 months. that should get you to swear off the lottery.

...or social security - oh wait we're stuck with that

He says they did graduate to $100s (belonging to the rich guy, not my homey) but the camera or cameraman failed to record it. Possibly too much alcohol involved?

I usually spend $5-10 every couple of weeks. I usually win my money back and just use that to buy the next scratch off tickets.
