I am trying to find a hood scoop that I saw once recently on a car. I'm stuck on it being from a Ferrari but I haven't been able to find it. I know it was on an expensive sports car and it looks a LOT like the one on the Ferrari 575M pictured below, but the way I remember it had the lines in front of it extend a little longer and came in together a little bit at the ends/front of car. From what I remember I even thought it might have come from a Dodge Viper, but again I'm stuck on it coming from a Ferrari. Anyone know what I'm talking about or am I smoking too much crack?

The Cadamuro hood is the one you're looking for, I think.

The crazy vented hood that Blacktibs is selling also has a scoop similar to that but "pointier" & non-functional I believe.

I found the freakin' scoop I was looking for today. Doubt anyone cares but I hate when the creator of a thread never gives any closure to them. I was thinking of the scoop from a 2000 Camaro SS.

Now, I have another dilemma. I saw somewhere some small vents that were about 4 inches wide and maybe 6 inches long and were setup 4 in a row long ways on a hood. They had small borders that came up maybe 1/2 inch from the surface around each of them. They served the same purpose but on a smaller scale as the big vent on the Evo(the ones that are in direct competition with the STI's which ever model that is) in letting air out of the bay. Anyone got any clues on those? I thought I saw them on an STI but I checked and apparently I'm wrong. Why oh why can't I remember these things?!?!?

The evo has a heat release what 2 of flyrides hoods have the sit has a scoop because the intercooler is right under there, our cars the heat release is a lot better andthe scoop is pointless well it pushes cooler air in to the bay but also adds drag

I do not know about the current Subarus.. but I do know the 98 through 90 (maybe 91) Impreza Outback and 2.5 RS had four small vents in the hood right behind the headlights

^^^ I love that car, but the scoop there was meant for the intercooler but it was relocated to the front for more efficient cooling
