If you aren't aware, when the Halo 3 Beta came out, Microsoft finally started MASS banning all of the modified 360's out there to keep the playing fields clean. It pissed off some customers, but I totally agree that they should have done it.
Even Hitler would rather kill himself than buy a PS3.

i knew i seen that video before, but this one was more priceless lol..
wow, that would suck to have your xbox all modded and have your live account permanently banned.. o well, serves people right..
i just watched that one video the other day about the ps3 not having exclusive games or w/e hilarious.. lol

The thing is, they don't ban your account, they BAN THE XBOX. So folks are going to go sell them on ebay, get a new one, and continue, then the EBAY guy logs on to use his 360, and it's banned.

With an origonal chipped xbox, you can just flash a new EEPROP on the box and it will be fine. I have never used XBL. EEPROMS are worth up to $30. I might sell mine.

It's ok you don't have to use xBox live and can still get on and the other services are free. I don't know all the details on them and I'm sure Redz will set me straight on my vague post somehow, but they will get around it or again just don't use xBox live. All software should be free like music etc. It's an artform, not a service so I will continue to mod/chip/burn and not pay for overpriced wastes of good free time. smile.gif There is a way around everything. .. always.

^^ Yeah, but most programmers got into it for the money, whereas most artists (artist, not no-limit soldiers), get into it for the love of music. Don't get me wrong, i'm with you on it, but it takes a different, more logical part of the brain to make software and that same logic is what drives business.
