Help me paint
This thing needs a paint job. More than likely I will be doing one of those roll on paint jobs, without all the sanding. At this point anything will improve the way it looks. So what I'm looking for is some color suggestions. Help me out guys.

I would just sand away the rust and flaking edges from the current paint job and rattle can on a rust inhibiting black primer. You might have to touch it up after a couple years, but it's pretty simple and inexpensive. If you don't want to touch it up later you could rattle can on primer, paint, and a clear coat. If you want to do a flat or matte clear you don't have to sand anything except for the prep work on the body.
If you can get a hold of a spray gun you could also do Eastwood's single stage rat rod black. It's a matte urethane that doesn't need a primer or clearcoat.

I was thinking flat red, orange or blue. I'll see which is the cheapest. If they are all same price then probably flat red.
Black looks good on nice cars. On a neon with this many imperfections I think it makes them stand out.

i really like that orange/yellow 03-accent-03 posted up.
whenever i see flat, i always think of a toy, or a beat up rusted train. something about shine and gloss that makes it look "new".
that neon has got some pretty bad rusting going on.
i like the Mini blue:
you can also find this on a Solara or a Prius.

Well this is what happens when you don't do very much prep work. The only sanding I did was the rust spots, and I did it with very rough sandpaper. Then I used rust primer in only those spots.
I did 3 coats so far.
Will do at least 3-5 more depending on what it looks like.
Right now as you can see it looks like a blue camouflage car, I think it looks different, I didn;t say good but different, haha.
