Anytime a blank box or bag is sitting somewhere in a public area, its automatically labeled as a suspicious package and the bomb squad has to be called in immediately?

Did something happen recently? No, I haven't noticed that much, except for at the airport. Instances that come to mind are backpacks being left at the fence surrounding the White House or something of similar importance.

black boxes are extremely fashionable for explosive devices-... gone are the days of wooden crates labeled "acme tnt". bookbags ugh! why not go for a more neo-classical messenger bag-... possibly a blue linnen bag w/ a simple BROWN (not black) strap.
it's 2012, explosives need to look chic' not like a fedex delivery mishap.
the clasps holding the boxes shut are going to be the new rage. so one should really start focusing on what style clasp they're going to be displaying for next season. i know i'd perfer a simple 1/4" wide red tape arcross the lid w/ embossed silver text.
