As the title says, happy veterans day to my follow military members...civilians take advantage to thank them and enjoy your possible day off (depending where you work)...
before i joined the military, all i thought was yes another day off from school...but when i joined in 2002, learning tradition of Navy and the other branches made me really think how if it was not for past military members, alot of things would be different..
Once again Happy Veterans Day...take advanatge of the free food at resturants in your area...I know in Pax River Rudy Tuesday is free to active duty tonight

If I was military myself, I would salute all those who have served. Seeing as though I am not, I offer my greatest thanks to those who have served, both past, present and future. drillsergeant.gif

Thanks for your service, and to all other vets here on RD.
Just don't do what my friend did when he got back from Iraq last year: got wicked drunk at a family party at my place and tried to sleep with my girlfriend owned.gif

Thanks everyone. I havent been deployed yet, and dont know when i will be but this means a lot. I once had a older couple hand me $200 in an airport on my way to the first abq bbq i attended and i know it meant a lot to them since they wouldnt take it back. Little acts like saying thanks really rejuvenate us soldiers when we are feeling down and stuff, so once again, thanks!

I think it's appropriate to bring back the old Superbowl ad:
