It really is an acquired taste. All it takes is the right beer and you start to like them.

guinness draught is excellent. i once drank a 12 pack of guinness extra stout and will never purchase it again.

 

I prefer Blue Moon, it does not taste like wood. I tried a Guinness and just did not do anything.

 

Blue doesn't taste like wood, it tastes like celery..

Costco's Sam Adams Sampler 24pk is where it's at. I like lots of beer, but I also enjoy a variety.

and the closest drink to a "foo-foo" drink I like is Hornsby's Hard Apple Cider. mmm

 

Right, but I hope to get a kegerator and chill my own to extend it a few more months for my own enjoyment.

mmmmmmmm guiness. i love guinness!

if you like guinness defiantely try harp (guinness light), samuel smith's oatmeal stout (tastes nothing like oatmeal) and samuel smiths black taddy (i believe).

the samuel smith's beers are very dark yet very well crafted-... i got a 4 pack for like $3 once.
