Got A Job In The Air Force
#1
Last night my recuiter called me with a job for the Air Force. I have been waiting since december for a job. I go in for boot camp on Sept. 27, so I still have about 4 months. The job I'm book for is: Airborne Battle Management Systems Apprentice. Which means I will be up in the air in the AWACS directing other land, sea, and air units where to go and what to target among other things. I am really excited about this. laugh.gif

Good luck! Especially with the major military cut that was announced today. They are closing my center and cmbining us with the rest of the forces in the area. So i may not be in much longer depending on what they plan on doing.

Good luck with your journies! You're going to enjoy that job! You're gonna be gone a LOT but you'll make a LOT of money with all the TDYs and deployments.
Have fun and be safe!

Airborne Battle Management is not necessarily AWACS. You could be on AC-130's. If that's the case, I may see you here soon. Congrats! laugh.gif BTW, are they giving you an enlistment bonus. I am curious if they cut that with force shaping. 02.gif

The military cut sucks for those people losing their jobs. Hopefully it does some good in the long run.
I was really glad I was able to get a job that dealt with being in the air. My main goal is to become a pilot. So this is a head start in the right direction. Also I will be going in as a E-3 which is nice. wink1.gif
