Default Is this ghetto or not

When I was at HID. I saw a blue neon r/t with with a quad exhaust!! Two on the left and two on the right. Am I missing something, why would a 4 banger need a quad exhaust? rolleyes.gif I wanted to ask the guy, but he was with his club. I was afraid they might jump me If any of you would have seen that one the road, would you consider it normal or ghetto rice?

It depends. Chances are they were fake tips on each side. But I do believe the new Neon's have a dual exhaust. Not sure if both sides are used (functional) but if it was a quad..then rest assured he most likely had fake tips on it. So, in that case...I would probably consider it rice.

Naw man! It's really good for four-cylinder performance to have a separate exhaust header, cat, and muffler PER cylinder. Why mess with the debate between 4-2-1 headers vs. 4-1 headers, when you can simplify your life with 1-1 headers?!?!

Backpressure, smackpressure.

I have the pix of the neon, guess I have to wait until graphic support is restored. For some reason I would expect to see that on a civic as well smile.gif

I'm with the rest of guys on this one. Rice all the way. That is why I only put the good rice in my car. Btw how much hp would you lose with that setup? 60 pounds of useless metal hmmmm sounds like a great idea to me.

Don't forget the stickers (esp if the say Type R) that gives you 10 more HP right there.

I had a 99 Neon R/T and it did have dual functioning exhaust but as far as quad tips, Yeah that's rice but it does look sharp at least I though with the stock dual exhaust setup.
