there is an inperfection in the way wep werks , a tinny bit of it is sent through the air in the packets, catch enough of them and the program peieces it together. or at least thats the way i understand it, i never got the damn thing to run for me, i have linux, but installing those type of thing, is murder, complie this package, but before that install this one so it will werk but before that you need... blah blah blah , and the windows port, hahahahahha i don't know if anyone ever got that thign to work

it does boost the signal but i am not sure as to what extent, that can is conncted to a oronoco card at one end of my gf's house and she gets real good quality, with out it she couldn't get signal, and thats with alot of walls in the way

But not many idiots read their manual to actually set up their router. If they set up the router for the WEP, then they have probly clicked to see their userlogs man.

AirSnort works by seeing certain patterns that are used in 802.11 standards. If it sees blah blah blah after every sentance then that probly means end of sentance. I did alot of reading on it, but i lost interest because it takes sooo much time. I litterally had it running all day with no results. That's when i asked my neighbor to split the bill.
BTW, that antenna is teh roxor.
