Last night around 6pm I knocked on my cousin's bedroom door to ask him if I could call his cell and have him tell me my number. Anyways he was asleep so I said "No worries dude".

Then around 6:45 pm I saw him come out of his room and leave the apartment, I figured he was going out..

Around 7:30 he came home and I noticed he had his shoprite vest on so I said "what you doing an overnight shift?" and he goes bright red and says

"Nah man, when you woke me up about your cell # I looked at the clock and saw the time was just gone 6 and I had to be at work at 7am.."

The silly sod thought it was 6am when I woke him up.. Got out of bed, got in the shower, drove to work without even realising it was 6pm.

I havent laughed so much in f***ing ages. He soon saw the funny side and we were pissing ourselves : haha.gif

Ive done something like that before! I woke up at 7pm thinking it was 7am the next day and took me a few hours to figure it out (I realized it when the sun went down at "9:30am").

i did become imfamously famous for setting my alarm for 4:00pm as opposed to 4:00am, making me miss my flight to go to ABQ. lol

I did that 2 weeks ago. They have me working wierd shifts where one day I have to be in at 2PM working until 2AM, then the next day I have to be in at 12PM to 4PM, then the next day 6AM - 4PM.... it gets confusing and sometimes you wake up feeling refreshed when it's still dark out.

it's easy to get 6AM and 6PM confused if you don't look directly outside to find out where the sun is located.

It's worse up north here. 8 am and 8 pm look -exactly- the same, as far as brightness of the sun.

yeah, but the best feeling in the entire world is when you make this mistake, hop inthe shower, and then realize what is going on and hop back into bed knowing you have a solid 10 hours of sleep left.
