Driver side tail lamp still looks good! Ditto for the shifter! (autotragic) 02.gif

Just goes to show you...airbags don't help one bit durring a rollover. Notice they never went off. They WILL NOT go off durring a barrel roll style rollover.

Dude had custom plates too! MANUTD1

Looks like for whatever reason, he swerved over to the left side of the road, but did it a bit too much, and got the outside outside wheels off on the dirt. That caused them to loose traction, and then it became a rear around slide towards the the right side shoulder...then barrel roll time.

I don't see any blood in the car, so I'm hoping the driver/passenger made it out okay.

Anybody else notice that the airbags didn't deploy? That's not the first time I've heard of Hyundai airbags not deploying when they should.

airbags are only supposed to deploy on a full frontal or offside impact from either the front or the rear. They would NOT deploy in a side impact or a roll over where the bag would actually cause more harm than good by keeping the driver rigid behind the wheel.

that sucks... interesting to see how it would hold up in a roll. That thing went FAR off the road, I wonder what speed it was at before control was lost.

I'm guessing a Canadian Tib? Graphite dash... looks like Tiburon "SE" on trunk
As low as our roof is, any indention into the cab would suck in an accident

hhhmmmmmm nice long straight road in the middle of nowhere.... makes me think its not IF he was speeding, but by how much and if they were racing... Looks like the person survived tho, no blood really, cab is pretty intact, and theres really no other tracks down there yet (from rescue or somethin).

First thing I thought of in every one of those pics was the word owned across them cool.gif prob not very nice of me
