As I said in a previous post I finally got my Glock 22 out of layaway. I took it to the range on Sunday and shot 155 rounds out of it. The standard break in is 100 rounds, so it should be good to go now. This thing fires like a dream! There is some felt recoil, but it is minimal. It is very easy to reaquire the target after a shot. I will post pics of it later on tonight maybe.

Here is my 10 yard target:

It has been said that most self defense shootings are within 7 feet so I am pretty confident that I could hit someone if I needed too. tongue.gif

Well I think you would have done better if you shot sideways and with the other arm across your chest. But thats my opinion!!! lol.gif

Wow, man nice shooting. I really want to own a Glock someday. I dunno, even just to shoot one once would be cool too.

HAHA funny you say that about shooting sideways. I watched CSI a week or so ago where some hot shot producer/rapper shot a gang member. Anyway, they caught him becuase he shot the gun like that, I guess the empty casing hit him in the neck and burned him. LOL They made him look like the @$$ that he thought he wasn't.

Shooting a pistol accurately isn't as easy as it seems, it takes practice. I remember in marksmanship class, there were people who missed the target completely. Java nailed the bullseye a few times though.

well i bet you could hit somebody within seven feet, hopefully man. but in order for it to be a "self-defense" shooting your safety needs to be immediatly threatened by the person and that usually doesnt happen when the dude is more than seven feet away lol. unless they also have a gun and now your talking your marksmanship and rxn time vs thiers hehe
