Dear AF ladies and gentlemen,
With very little time to spare before the shooting of the movide begins, we have been contacted by John Wiser of the Universal Picture Car Deperatment for "The Fast and the Furious 3" to aid them seek out more vehicles for the movie.
They are looking for as many right-hand-drive vehicles as they can possibly find. No matter the make/model or the condition, there will be a good chance that your RHD car will end up in the movie.
They are also looking for overall good-looking modified cars (preferably RHD but LHD also acceptable).
There is special demand for VIP type cars (dropped and modified Infiniti Q45, Toyota Chaser, etc.) and super-modified mini-vans.

The script from what I've read has been totally rewritten. It doesn't take place on Vin Diesel's character anymore (or at least focus on him too much) as they were interviewing some Asian guy on it's new story line. It is VERY different from what I read around the time your talking about and what I read a couple month ago on movie source or something. I will see if I can find the thread over on Toyrolla.com and post it up here on the new script. If I'm wrong on this then it was a damn good article that got passed around and very seemingly legit. Mainly I'm just confused as to what happen or what it's going to actually be about anymore. But this newer script totally refreshed, new angle, no theme from the original or second other than the name. OH and DRIFTING.

Yes, there are fast mini-vans. But this is a Fast & Furious movie. Do you honestly think they care about performance? No, they are more concerned with gaudy, riced to the extreme cars. Expect to see mini-vans with euro tails, neons everywhere, wings that belong on a nuclear bomber, etc.
