No, we dump that much money into the places and the media makes us think we are hated by them. The Afgans are working hard with us now. Bosnia and Kosovo are both friendly to us.
Most of the Iraqi's are even pretty cool to us. I've got some videos my brother in law made while he was over there if anyone wants to see them.
Java, think you can host them?

I just had a good friend get back from Iraq. He told stories of how people loved to see the soldiers go down the streets, how people welcomed them and treated them well. He truly believes that the people of Iraq were happy to have the military there. It is the minority of the people that don't like the US, not the majority. Also, with the scenes that someone was talking about of soldiers not liking what our President is doing, well, for every one soldier that Moore found that was dissenting, I am fairly sure there are thousands who approve.
Moore did not just interview random soldiers to get their viewpoint, he hand selected people that had views that would help his movie and further his cause. Just because Moore stated that he did not prompt the soldiers to say what they did does not mean that he did not interview soldiers beforehand, get their views and then choose them to videotape.
Also, about the other half that the news doesn't tell you, yeah right. All of the big three news stations (ABC, NBC, CBS) and CNN always have negative connotations when speaking of our president. Also, the major newspapers have articles that are decidedly slanted left. You can read most of the articles on line, and I suggest that anyone who wants to be informed do so.

Hence the media bias. It so far slanted left it's not even funny. FOX is the only station that is half decent. I refuse to watch CNN. Ted Turner started that company bias and it remains the same today even though I don't think Turner owns it anymore.

drafter ... watch Fox News... they're "Fair and Balanced"
Make sure you watch Hannity and Colmes (go Hannity!) and the O'Reilly Factor (Go Bill!)
The Spin Stops Here! evil.gif
oh yeah, this brings me to another topic.
This is one of the reasons I stay away from HP.com. The mods over there are way too liberal. You can't debate anything political with them.
