My name comes from a latin song by Projecto uno called El Tiburon. It's a song about a guy who's out at a club and he's talking to some chicks. Then some guy (el tiburon)walks up and say, ain't you married and walks off with the chick. So he says that el tiburon took her away, which we know translates to Shark in spanish. suicide tongue.gif

I used to go by the name "Turbo_X". (Founed when I wanted to use "Turbo X" as my name, but Descent didn't allow spaces in a name, so it put an underscore in the space. Hence Turbo_X)I still use Turbo_X for my online gaming. Everyone in the counter-strike gaming community knows me by Turbo_X or just "Turbo" for short. But that didn't seem to work well with my car, since it isn't turbo charged.
Spiffywerks was a name my friend came up with for my computer when we used to get together in '96 to do some direct connection (via serial port/parallel port) multiplayer game action. (The times of Descent and Warcraft, WC II)
So since I didn't want to use Turbo_X for my car, not until I get a Turbo.. muhaha... I decied to use Spiffywerks. And it seems to work well. Since many people think I have a "Spiffy" lookin' car. hehe.

I wrestled (yes the fake sh*t) for 6 months when it was kewl to hurt yourself jumping off ladders and going through a table. I liked the name Xtremez cuz at the time I was 6'4 180 lbs and didnt have much regards for my body. Now I got married and have a kid. You'd think I would have learned from wrestling.... owned beat_dow
And of course I drive a 98 tib fx

Well, mine is rather interesting. Many thought it was funny that I bought a tiburon because of its spanish translation. Basically my left foot got bitten off by a shark when I was 15 at New Smyrna Beach (about 10-15 min from Daytona Beach). Thank goodness it was my left foot and not my driving foot. Anywayz its all good, I have a prothetic foot now.

I want to know if yamaneko chose his name because he has been to Iriomote Island and knows about the native cat that only lives on that island here in Okinawa.
I think you're right, although i don't know if he's been there. But he mentioned the cat reference in a similar post on TeamSR way back I think.

Actually, I lied.... bull_sch My foot did not get bitten off. I just used SharkBite because it sounded cool and I wasn't as creative. I often go by the nickname of "pez" because of my last name.
