Guys, I'm sorry to say it, but this has fallen thru.

Delta didn't want to accept my card because it's not in HIS name. Then they said that HE needed to show MY card at HIS airport before he flew.

So, I went to Orbitz, found a similar price, and tried to book it. Guess what? They don't take Paypal Mastercard. So I spend 30 minutes on the phone with Paypal, then 45 trying to get thru to some asshole in India who tells me to wait 3 hours and try again.

SO.

I go back and call Delta and they say they are wrong, that I just have to show MY CREDIT CARD at ANY DELTA COUNTER ANYWHERE, before he flies tomorrow.

So, I go to book the flight, and the price jumped to over $600.

I will go into paypal now and refund everyone. It SHOULD send you back everything, including your paypal fees.

I'm sorry guys.

 

me and J were goin back and forth all afternoon with this. first i didn't even want a fundraiser, i was just gonna take my losses...

then i noticed how quick money was coming in. i couldn't believe it. the generosity of this website is unbelievable, and i owe everyone who put money forward something. anything.

from the time this thread was made til the money was raised, prices on priceline.com jumped $170. other places weren't as much. and then it was a probelm w/ paypal debit card. it was unreal...

finally, when REDZ said prices were over $600, thats when we both said no...

again, i wanna thank you guys SO MUCH. i would have never thought that a website full of "strangers" could have done so much in such a short period of time. this is why i never stopped coming here, even when i totalled my better Tiburon. its such a close-nit family. i love it....
