See that oil drum crushed like an eggshell? gives you an idea of the weight of that BEAST.

I'll betcha this was almost a darwin award... garage looks pretty cramped to have a 10,000 pound truck fall over sideways in it.

What I don't get is, that lift should of easily been able to hold the truck with no issues. Unless they didn't swing the side arms out correctly, or have them under the frame in a good even spot, then I can see the truck falling over. suicide

I don't think it was a weight issue. I think they didn't place the swing arms properly. If it was a weight issue, the hydrolics on the lift would have gone out and the lift would have just gone down, laying the truck on its wheels.

Dunno... looks like an awfully small lift for 10,000 pounds. Possibly a swing arm broke or bent enough to tip the truck?

Anyways, somebody's about to get royally reamed by one pissed-off truck owner *and* whoever owns the shop smile.gif
