I like corona with lime. I also like bud light.
My logic behind going to a bar is that when I go out, I may as well drink something for $3 rather then $10 for a mixed drink.
If I were to get a mixed drink, I'd take a Tequila Sunrise or a Long Island Ice Tea.
When I was in Germany, my favorite drink was Heffeweissen. Pronounced Heff a vise en. Weissen means white in german, referring to the light color of the beer. They add things to it like coke and it becomes a colaweissen. You add banana extract and it's a bananaweissen. Depending on your mood there's a Heffeweissen for you.
Germans also call Jack and Coke "Jacky Coke".
That's all I really have to say about alcohol.

amen to that about the drink prices. If I'm out at the bar, I usually stick to drafts which are $1.75 or cheaper depending on the night. I'm not paying 10 bucks for a mixed drink.

Heffeweissen is not "famous" for it's light color. It is a wheat beer and the key thing about Heffe is it is in the traditional form, unfiltered. There is also Kristallweizen which is the same thing but filtered. Personally while I was in Germany I always liked Heffe. When I could find it I would drink Dunkelweizen or Weizenbock. One of the better off brand beers I had while in Germany was called "Frankensteiner". It was 50 cents a bottle that night and I spent more than $8 bucks. lol

Gatorade all the way! Just been downing the orange flavored stuff, especially after roofing all day. Might try the lemon one. Or a mix!! Wooo!
Other than that, just water. Lots of water. And not that mineral or sparkling water either... Ick.

Bump! I have got around to trying some Johnny Walker and Dewars White label scotchs. I must say that I like them! They are both scotch whiskeys and would suggest them to anyone looking to try a scotch. I've only had them straight with some ice.

I'm pretty plain - I enjoy a raspberry vodka (Absolut Raz is the best) with sprite. I also have my own drink that is an oz. of Southern Comfort, an oz. of coconut rum (Cruzan coconut is best), 3/4 oz. of lime juice, and topped off with sprite. I call it a Paddle Shifter lol smile.gif
