Dohc???? Wheres The Other Gear???

well...a while ago i removed the top of my timing belt cover..to expose the gears..or should i say GEAR..my car is obviously a DOHC 16v 2.0...because hyundai didnt make a sohc tib....why is there only one cam gear?? i dont get it...someone please explain..i tried searching but it didnt work... :unsure:

You need to learn how to search then. The search works just fine.
It's a DOHC. That means it's got DUAL OVERHEAD CAMS. The CAMS ARE UNDER THE VALVE COVER.
They are connected to a chain also under the valve cover.

Yup, There is one driving gear (that you see) which is connected to the exhaust cam. On the other side of the cam, there is a sprocket. The Intake cam is driven by chain connected to the exhaust cam.
