So the other day the funniest thing happens.
I got a CEL.
First one ever on the Tib.
So, I know what everyone's thinking.
1.8L ECU.
So I do the whole "AWWW SHIT" thing, and start thinking. This bright ass CEL is shining in my face and I'm worried.
Lizgiggles looks at me and says, "What's that bright light?"
I said, "It's a CEL, Check Engine Light."
Her, "Oh god, what did you do to the car this time?"
Me, "Nothing, it's probably nothing honey, I'll take it to Autozone (Rice rice, give me rice rice!) tomorrow and get it scanned."
Her, "That's right, they scan ODBII for free huh?"
Me *Puzzled look*.
My son, Chris (13), "Maybe it's your O2 sensors?"
Me *Very puzzled look*
Lizgiggles, "It's probably the 1.8L ECU you swapped hon, the weather is warming up, maybe something went wrong finally."
Me, *Astonished look*
We get to the house while my son and wife are arguing over weather or not I should reset my ECU and wait, or check the O2 sensor wiring. I get out of the car as my son is saying he'll pop the hood. I go back to the fuel tank door, open it (popped it on the way out), and screw the Gas Cap till it clicks 5 times.
The CEL went off later in the Day.

LOL, seems like a commerical for Hyundai... except they wouldn't advertise something going wrong with their car. laugh.gif

REDZ, at least you don't have a ***** evap cannister which keeps switching your CEL on and off like a disco club!!
