svedka an coors?!
Coors is swill and Svedka is paint thinner.
Ultimat and Flying Dog Tire Biter sound like a better combo. You still get the vodka kick w/out the nasty fumes and the Colorado beer for pure greatness.
Though make a summer screwdriver and toss in some Blue Moon and that'd be pretty sweet!
Winter blend:
Bacon [insert brand of choice here] Vodka and........
Probably a heavier beer I'd go for a Kona Pipeline just to get that coffee flavor in there, and lets face it, kona is some of the best (coffee and beer) around.
Or if you wanna be crazy AND stick with the Colorado beer, Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial. The 7.8 abv stout that will kick you in the junk as-is.

the purpose of using a lite beer such as coors lite is so the beer doesn't overpower the limeade. this drink is supposed to taste like a margarita.... you shouldn't taste beer at all. but trust me. its there. haha
one of the best mixed drinks i've ever had, to be honest.

Uhm, NO?
Sparticus hit the nail on the head. The beer is there to up the alcohol content, keep it light in color, and make larger quantities, you can't taste it, and wouldn't want to. Beyond that, it's a SUMMER DRINK, WTF would want to put some darker beers in there? That would taste like doggie dung and look like poo water. Svedka isn't the best, but it's far from the worst. use a more expensive one if you want, it's not going to change the effects.
Personally, next time I make it it'll have the Costco Kirkland brand Vodka in there, one of the top 3 vodkas I've ever had and I drink a LOT of vodka. Tis cheap enough to be used for this too.

All I am saying is a better Vodka would make a better drink. No need for top shelf that much I could agree to, but Svedka-- puke.gif
It's my inner beer-snob that tells me coors just can't pass the lips. I see your point, however I beg to contrast that a better beer would serve to enhance the flavor (and proof) without overpowering.

Can't say I've tried that brand so I'll take your word for it and try.
Myself, I'm Scotch and Bourbon man with a nose form Brandy. But I dabble in Vonda and Gin.
