How difficult is the spare-tire custom job in the top picture? I'm not interested in any of the sound system stuff, just the custom spare tire surround.

Iago...that's a full custom fiberglass enclosure. Doing somethingl ike that is pretty tough. I used to have a red fiberglass speakerbox in my hatch. Too bad it cracked right down the middle! sad.gif Anyway, basically what most people do is build the basic set up out of wood, and then cover it with fiberglass bondo. Then they smooth it all over and shape it to how they want it to look, prime, and paint. But a couple of things to remember is that fiberglass enclosures are heavy. It's gonna weigh the back end of your car down a little. Also, if you put on too thin of a coat of fiberglass, you take a large chance of it cracking, and looking really bad. (That was my mistake) It's definitly well worth it if you're going for that whole show idea, and you don't drive around too much. You're best bet is to go an audio shop and find out if this is something they can do. Good luck! wink.gif

I'm not sure if those were stickers or not but you're better of asking Dan from Kore as that is one of the cars he brought with him.

I'm only seeing two pics here. Anyway, as far as fiberglass enclosures go they are actually lighterweight than MDF enclosures which is what just about everyone uses. They are very strong though when a good brand of resin and mat are used(select products).

I have the same problem, I want to see the spare tire to see if it's what I think it is. I saw one on an Accord Wagon that was fiberglass or something so you could see the tire, is that what the pic had in it?
