get a key made from hyundai if you dont have the keys your insurance will probably suffice as proof of ownership

then show up and jack your car back

after you move your car about a good mile away

walk back and take a huge sh!t on the hood of his car

i dunno the laws in your state but the ones in cali i do.
if somone leaves a car on your property you can put a lein sale on it after 30 days. the sale has to be made public and the dmv has to be notifyed b4 the actual lein sale can be started. then the dmv will send the info to the previous owner stating if he doesnt pick the car up in that 30 day time period it will be sold.
other states have simular laws but some do not require the dmv to notify the last owner.

hopefully he did not sale your car. you should have been on this car b4 and after this guy went out of buisness or restarted i think you got jacked.

CALL THE POLICE AND REPORT IT OR ATLEAST TALK TO THEM ABOUT THIS SITUATION.

if you want these guys to help you out you have to give them something. VIN, License plate, address of previous shop, the guys name, the car's year, color, anything unique about it.

this is like asking someone to go steal a ferrari for you... any ferrari cuz u left it in a shop.

 

Exactly. Even if we DID have the info, I wouldn't go take the car until I saw you had the title or something as proof its yours. Otherwise we'd be stealing, get shot, swim with the fishes.........

 

You need to post AS MUCH of this information as possible:

VIN, License Plate Number, Car color and last external appearances you knew of

All options on the car (1st or 2nd gen? color? sunroof? fogs? leather? what wheels?)

All Names, Addresses, Phone Numbers of who you gave it to

List of vehicles you know they were in possession of

Street location of their old shop/house


Also, call the Knoxville PD. I went to UT Knoxville for a few years, it's a small town when you exclude the campus, and most of it is really poor (except for a few rare high-class subdivisions). Report it, PLEASE. You're an idiot if you think it'll just waste time. Hell, even if it does just "waste time" it's more than doing nothing!!

Do you have a VIN #? If so, file for a lost title. If it has not been transfered, you will have the title as proof of ownership. If it was transfered, you will know where to find it and if you have OTHER proof of ownership you can work with the police to get it back.
