i'm just not used to any other OS's GUI. if i was, maybe i'd like it better. but i'm not.

Wish they had one giving a frontal moon.

What's wrong with XP? I haven't had one crash since I installed it. No problems at all.

i just hate how the GUI is set up...including other things than the color scheme. i WANT my computer on my desktop. and i bet if i played around w/it some more, i'd find subtle things. like i bet it's a PITA to map drives...

My Compter can be on desktop, it's just not by default. Mapping drives are easy, either right click My Computer, or use the command line and use the net use command. You can also use the net use command in a batch file and load that in the startup file, or put it on their login on the domain controller. Easy stuff.

i see...but as i said, i'd have to play around with it. plus, comparing tweaking XP out w/just 2k is like comparing a heavily modded car to a stock car...
