With the way the economy is going right now. I think I may wait a year or two until some used ones are coming back on the dealership lots. My wife and eye were eying up a 2007 Hyundai Sonata 3.3L for $8,995 last week.

I believe I predicted this several months ago. As I said then, there will be no deals on Gen Coupes for at least 6 months, maybe a year. You're looking at MSRP at best. No dealer is going to give any discounts on these and there will be no rebates. Here in Vegas, dealers wanted over $50K for V8 sedans when they showed up. They still are asking $5K over, but at least they're taking that off with very little negotiating. I predict Vegas dealers will be asking $10K over for all V6's and about $6K over for turbos for at least a year.

Prediction or not, the dealer markup is on every car on every lot I've been to for years. I'm not paying it.

Now, let's look up the Coupe on the Costco Auto Services guide... LOL

Well... here the mark-ups are high, but they're only on new, high-demand cars. No, I don't pay them.
