Last year I waited for 8 hours to get a laptop. Only to be cut by roughly 200 people, cops called, fights. And all I ended up getting was 200 blank DVDs since everything was sold out. Im never doing that again.

I prob won't do either, but I never know until after Thanksgiving Dinner. It depends if my extended family wants me to.
If we do Black Friday, we usually all sit around Thanksgiving night and pass adds around. If you're getting an item, you circle it. The next morning each family member goes to a different store, and gets all the circled things in that add, without knowing who wants them, or who they are for. (So you could be buying your own gift.) Then everybody is done shopping by 9am, and we get back together, exchange goods, and pay each other for the stuff we circled.
It's probably overly organized, but it's awesome to have your seasons gift shopping done in a couple hours. blush.gif
