I just got mine done earlier today. The first hole was a b****, but the second wasnt as bad....due to my adrenaline rushing pretty good after the first hole. But it wasnt as bad as what alot of people have said. I have my tongue pierced once (getting my 2nd one soon), and that was nothing at all. Anyway, for those of you that have an Industrial, I read some reviews that it can take anywhere from 2 months to 1 year to heal fully. I also saw that its one of the biggest piercings that can get infected real easy. After I had it done, I bought some H2Ocean (salt water spray) to keep on it. Does anyone have any other tips for it? Also...I read different reviews where some people said to turn the barbell once every few days, and other people said not to touch it at all. Any insight on that, would be great too. Thanks everyone! smile.gif

Now to make sure I dont roll over and sleep on my right side. *lol* That wont be something fun to wake up to, since putting pressure on that ear is definitely out of the question for the time being. tongue.gif

^^ wow, sounds like he should finalize the pierceing and just have a straight steel bar connecting the right and left temple

Man if you are dumb enough to not ask the guy who pierced you, but instead go home and ask advice from strangers online on how to take care of your piercing you deserve to have your ear fall off (and perhaps take your head with it!) If you wanted to tell everyone you got a new hole punched just say that, instead of some veiled question in regards to the after care~ I am only kind of kidding about the above comments.....

I already know about the after care and got all the info I needed from the piercer. I'm not asking for after care specifically....I'm asking for any tips from people who have an Industrial as well, because everyone heals differently and I read alot of different reviews from easy healing to the most extreme. I want to see if those who have it done, are they more on the easy side or did theirs heal up alot longer than what the piercer told me.

One of my friends got one a few years back and 9 months into it he still wasn't fully healed. He's a fairly healthy person so take that for what it's worth I guess. Not sure what he did to take care of it though.
