Ive been trying forever to get an MP3 ringtone onto my phone. I cant do it. Ive went through sites that can host it for me to retrieve on my phones browser and nothing. Cant transfer it bluetooth from Computer to phone, nothing.

Its an 8300 I figured maybe someone here had one and has done it.

 

you connect the blackberry to the computer and enable mass media mode. then you transfer the song to the folder Blackberry. then you set it on the phone as your ringtone from the music tab of the media folder

OK, havent seen that way before. Ill find out how to enable that. Love the phone though.

 

I believe the problem with the 8000 series phones is that you can get the song on the phone and listen to it, but the option to set it as a ringtone is missing, its available on the regular ringtones or ones u purchase but not on ones you uploaded directly from your computer.
