Another step towards legalization...
Washington DC passed medical marijuana

Its definitely gonna happen in our lifetime...I can see it. DC is like the 3rd or 4th state now to legalize it for medical reasons. Between this happening slowly, and alot of states legalizing gay marriages....I can see the country is slowly getting less and less conservative about things. It'll be interesting to see what the nation is like in 10-20 years from now.

Yeah, it will be interesting. The funny thing about states legalizing marijuana is that it doesn't really matter. It's still against Federal law, and until that power is given back to the states you've still got the possibility of going to prison.

^^^ Not as long as Obama is in office. He has instructed the DOJ not to go after legal Medical Marijuana users or distributors unless they violate the State law.

Government is now figuring out how to tax it. The snowball has begun and is picking up steam.
I read yesterday also that NJ was the 14th state to legalize it for medical reasons.
