Another school shooting

Another school shooting
There was an indian reservation about 15+ miles away from my house that had a school shooting that injured, i think, 18 people, killed 10.
All together the kid killed his grandparents, 6 kids, 1 teacher, and 1 security guard.
Pretty sad...

I've seen a little bit of that on the news. Actually when I got on the internet this morining I noticed there was a link on msn.com. That sucks, how are the natives around your area?? Are problems regular, or is it an easy go. I have lived in many places where there are reservations and the farther East I came the more and more I saw them doing well.
Unfortunately it is a tough life in the Prairies and Northern Ontario for Native communities. Around here there are many working and taking part in the community which, in my experience, is rare out West.

Cant by any means say it was right to do what he did.. But maybe these parents nowadays who have "bully" kids will learn something from all of this.. Highly doubtful though.. It really is a problem and I can see how it could push a child over the edge, and with some, push them away from sanity..

The natives here can be a problem, they like to be a$$holes to alot of people (but thats only if theyre in a big group with all theyre friends), at one time the unemployment rate on that particular reservation was at 60%.
I used to have alot of native friends but I kinda just qquit talkin to them, now I just hang out with one native.

/ I hear ya man, it's eff'd up sometimes, I have a couple friends like that that I just can't talk to anymore. 02.gif
I just made the connection, I saw a little bit of it on TV today (Yeah I don't get to see the news often) it was right in Bemidji! Wow dude, you said it was nearby but that is eff'n close.
I hope something good comes of this and they don't just blame the natives, that would be an easy scapegoat for the town. I heard in that same newscast that the parents of another teen who committed suicide in the Halton region (Toronto area) is suing the school board. I guess the kid was bullied like this poor Bemidji kid and he killed himself.
But who knows, they'll prolly just blame this kid because of his lifestyle, or household habits, WTF the kid's name on a forum was angel of death in german. Big eff'n deal, who cares, fix the bully problem first and deal with the BS of a forum name when you notice your kid uses it as a SIN. [/rant]
