Alright, T-5 Days Til Road Trip
#1
well in about 5 days i will be on my drive down to a whole new life in ABQ, NM. it will be a VERY long drive. according to google maps, exactly 24 hours of driving. I plan on making it in less than 48 hours..
Anyway, i was wondering if there may be any members on her along my route that may wanna meet up for a bite to eat, or let me crash on their couch for a few hours before i continue the long drive down.
I plan on stopping every 4 hours or so, just to take a break, relax, and take in some sights.
according to my one route that i may go with i will be passing through the following cities:
kalamazoo, MI ; chicago, IL (area) ; Joliet, IL ; Bloomington, IL ; Springfield, IL ; St. louis, MO ; Springfield, MO ; tulsa, OK ; Oklahoma CIty, OK ; AMarillo, TX ; and then on thru to ABQ.
the other route i was considering would take me thru the following: (about 5 hours more driving and another 300 miles)
toledo, OH ; Dayton, OH, Cinci, OH ; lexington, KY ; knoxville, TN ; Nashville, TN ; Jackson, TN ; memphis ; little rock , AR ; fort smith, AR ; Oklahoma CIty, OK ; AMarillo, TX ; and then on thru to ABQ.
the second route would be longer, and cost more, but i would miss the good ole crazy chicago traffic.

I wish I could do another road trip. I met up with alot of nice RDT members last time, TiburonMoo, REDZMAN, Patreezy. I would have met with a couple of others, but they were busy.

I would just deal with the Chicago traffic and go the shorter cheaper route. You don't want to do all that driving along 40 anyways. On the other hand you would be able to meet Majictib and possibly more members.

Come North to Boston late this spring. I should have another tib by then (been eyeing up a beauitufl dark green 99 one just like my old one) and you can stop by on the way up..
Java too? What is with everyone moving to ABQ?
