He said his foot got stuck in the gas pedal.

The police say that it was accidental so no ticket was given.

All I can say is WTF !!!

You can see in the video the car went back and forth.

How in the hell was he able to shift it forward and reverse if his foot was still on the gas.

I'm dumbfounded that he didn't get a ticket.

Bullsh*t! I once hit a piece of cardboard on my motorcycle as I was slowing down. This caused the front tire to lock up and me to drop the bike at about 10 mph. When I picked it up, it wouldn't start (flooded carbs) so I had to wait for a buddy to come pick me up. While I waited, a motor officer stopped by and asked what happened, then asked for my license, then wrote me a ticket for "failure to maintain control of my vehicle". I was 24, my bike was a ZX-7. Maybe if I had hit 9 cars, he would have let me off.

 

I bet if it was a 22 year old and not 92, there would be tickets up the wazoo given out. Plus even maybe jail time.

 

They probably didn't want the AARP to throw a fit. It's definitely BS though.
