I had a 90 Festiva. It wasn't fast top end, but the damn thing was so light, it moved 0-60! It was a lot of fun suprising people with how fast that little thang could accelerate! Granted the 60-100 time was about 3 months.....

At HIN Long Beach there was a guy with a complely riced out Festiva. The lettering on the side of the car claimed 13.73 in the quarter....I wouldn't wanna try to race him for money! wink.gif

 

I raced an Aspire (basically same thing) in my g/f's Del Sol (B16A) on the freeway. Well, we both ended up doing 115 mph down the freeway, with me not pulling NEAR as much as I should've been. We pulled off at an exit to check out each other's cars, the fuker had a Mazda 323 engine in there... .

 

BTW, I read the post from BlueAccent over on HyundaiTuner. That race was pretty lopsided. The Accent had a 15" sub and box in the back along with an amp, plus a full interior, his spare tire, and a stock motor.

 

I agree. It's a Festiva. If your gonna race, make sure you can beat Festivas. Hmm... never thought I'd agree with the SiRaver but he makes a valid point...
