2008 Tiburon

I reckon that with a few changes (to the grille, front bumper, rims & chrome highlights) that car has the potential to look sweet fing02.gif
Even if it's not the next all-new Tiburon...

I agree, that's probably not what it will end up looking like (hopefully). I think I got that link from NT or HP...don't remember which. Hopefully they will stick with what made the RD1 and RD2 look so good...curves.

Just to give you guys some potential inside news on the next tiburon. It's most likely going to be based off the the New Santa Fe and Sonata platform. The new tiburon will also more likely be AWD than RWD. There's some speculation in Korea that Hyundai is testing the AWD platform on the new 2007 Santa Fe, which was just released here.

why not bring back the name turbulance? It's really a great name that can be related to. WTF is tuscani? The last best thing that hyundai did was add a 6cyl, but they should have put it into the 01 model.

Meh, I don't know. Does look like an Inifinity. It doesn't look a thing like a Tiburon, at all. At least the GK model's at least semi-resemble the RD models. Just such a dramatic change. The wheels kind of look like if you were up in the sky looking down on top of a tornado or some shit, lol. It's definately different though but I don't approve.

That'd be sweet so long as they work on extracting reasonable power from their engine(s) this time around... I mean 140bhp from a 2.0L I-4 & 170bhp from a 2.7L V6 are not exactly impressive numbers.

Like Redz said, it most likely won't end up looking like that. Most cars never turn out to look like the models or drawings. It seems that all the new "sporty" cars are going to the Scion TC look, which is nice, but if we wanted to drive a car that looked like a TC we'd buy a TC. I think they should go back to RD1&2 styling. The body is what drove me to buy the Tiby in the first place. It's just such a different looking car and looks so fast just sitting there. Ah well, 2008 is still to come so we shall see. And you should never buy a car the first year it's out anyhow, give them time to work all the kinks out and buy it the next year.
