Default NOS Dangerous on a stock engine?

I have a 2002 Daewoo Lanos 1.5l SOHC. Would I be doin much damage if i was running a 35 or 50 shot of Zex?

If i bolted up Zex, most likely it would be for show, and just to have something original. But still, i'd probably hit it a few times. But not on a regular basis...

Keeping in mind Daewoo engines probably arent that strong in the first place

the problem isn't the strength of the engine, the problem is the ability of the fuel system.

By itself, you engine internals could easily withstand the extra 50 HP...but if your car runs LEAN and detonation happens while on nitrous...no, your pistions, rods, valves, sparkplugs, etc are going to have a rough time.

I would start with the 35 shot, and work your way up to the 50 shot. Make sure you have a quality air/fuel gauge to make sure you don't run lean under the 50 shot.

From experience... almost everyone who hits the bottle goes bottle crazy at one point... the rush is just too much

I wont be surprised if you finish your first bottle in 2weeks

Try to find a fuel pump upgrade for your car... that should give you the needed fuel pressure that the zex kit relies on

www.summitracing.com as one that is only $35 bucks. it is their own brand.

Most people seem to like the autometer style vs the Summit style

The summit style goes up and down (down rich, Up lean) the Autometer gauge is around the inner circumfrence, left rich, right lean.
