going over the axel requires a much bigger and sharper bend, which causes more restriction in the exhaust path.

stock exhaust is probably close to 2 inches, an extra half inch will help. 3 inches is where you start getting into the range of torque loss on a stock engien

I've got a pretty heavily modified N/A engine right now, but will be boosting it in the next year to two years, I don't want to have to replace my exhaust again.

Redz, once the details are worked out PM me a price, this will solve my issues much easier than trying find someone to fix mine, three muffler/exhaust places in my area said they wont touch my car

I have a 2.5 inch Borla XS sitting in the garage waiting too smile.gif

Such as:
Is your exhaust done/installed yet? If yes, how does it sound/feel? If no, any idea when it will happen?
Will the deal you mentioned still happen? Is the price range you mentioned the same?

Thanks

If it were done, you all would know. I'm not doing anything else till we get fueling fixed on my car with the new cams, so as to not throw off the after dyno.

As for your last 2 questions, yes and yes.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (REDZMAN @ Jul 11 2007, 10:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Midas = f*** THEM.</div>

yea, i agree they told me they couldn't give me a quote to repair my exhaust cuz they weren't sure how long it was gonna take. As soon as they told me 84 an hour i said f*** that. I took it to a muffler shop about two blocks down. The guy there looked at it for a sec and he said, 50, gimme about half a hour. Such great service deserves recognition. I will go back later for a quote on a custom setup. Hopefully I'll get a kick ass deal like that one, or better.

Midas.... everything they touch turns to gold, in their pockets... bastards.
