Default Re: Show us what you got

For some reason my car jsut decides to up and die this morning... I dont know. Is there something behind the dash that would make it not start if it werent connected, besides the hazards? I took my dash off for painting, I drove around fine, with no problems while the dash was off for two days. I put it back on yesterday morning when I got off work and now I cant get it to start for anything! I made absolutely sure that I connected everything back in the right places (I labeled everything as to where it went as I took it off). Would something drain the battery while its disconnected? Im at a loss.... 02.gif

HELP PLEASE!!!

are you getting any power at all? (dome lights, door lights, door ajar light)

Is it at least trying to turn over? Have you tried to jump start it? Check your battery terminals, is there a loose connection? is there a lot of corrosion?

Im getting everything as far as lights and sounds go.
Its trying to turn over, it just wont "catch".
I looked at and cleaned my terminals, there wanst really anything on there to begin with...
As far as a jump... everyone is at work.

**Does anyone think that a loose or grounded wire could be the problem? I dont know how it could have gotten worse overnight... but... may this have something to to with it?

Default super 60 turbo questions

do you have any mods? how many miles on the car? is it acting like it's about to start but just won't finish turning over?

Ive got a CAI as far as under the hood...

the motor has 23000 and the car itself has 67000

I cant get it to fully turnover... and while its turning, the whole car shakes... more than usual

Default Re: Calipers

sounds like a timing problem. but taking out your dash wouldnt cause that. Thats very odd. Well what I would do is make sure everything is grounded properly. If that fails, get the ECU pinout and a voltmeter and start prrobing to make sure everything is peachy.. im having the same issue in my elantra right now. But it could be a number of things at this point because I am hybrid'ing two cars together.

make sure you plugged EVERYTHING back in. I just figured out my problem is the MPI relay. Make sure you plugged it back in bro or you'll never get it started!

Dweet, cut out the double posting man. Use the edit button high speed.

Jared, I know this is stupid, but it's in neutral right? You didn't mess up anything on the clutch did you?

Does your stereo come on? Lights?
