I am having problems with my cluster lights due to fragile and broken light housing. If I swap for another cluster will it reset to original mileage? Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

no, but the odometer 'module' or whatever you want to call it is pretty easily swappable between clusters. you can just look at it and figure it out for the most part, but this should help you know what you're getting into beforehand...

Plus, once you have it apart and off the car, it's very easy to just adjust the numbers by hand. You could make the mileage say whatever you want tongue.gif

Yea, if you dont set the new one to the old mileage then make sure that you state on the title when you sell it unknown mileage. Im pretty sure that this has to be stated it the odometer isnt the correct mileage. I also believe if you buy a new one then some places will set it for you.

Is this a known issue with these clusters?

i have experienced that plastic getting weak and crumbly before, but i have handled 15+ clusters probably. seems like hyundai in general used some bad plastic here and there on the car. also, the heat from the bulbs helps to weaken the plastic.
