Note that it's been going on for about 2 weeks now. It's been to cold to look under the car.

So it sounds like if you were to take your index fingure and hold it about 10 cm from your desk and letting it drop and hit the desk without letting your nail hit.

It's coming from the front of the car but ONLY happens when you start from 0. Normal speed. At first I thought it might of been something hitting the firewall but even with the slowest launch in 1st it makes the sound. It's not loud, but you hear it. You also feel it on the floor pan with your feet. Than I thought it might of been tranny related so I launched from 0 slowly in 2nd and it still did the sound.

You don't hear the sound again until say you reach a stop sign and start again from 0. No sounds at all when I turn in any direction.

This has me stumped, but I haven't checked under the car yet. Who has any input on this? Places to pay more attention to under the car etc?

I got some suspension related parts to install but I'm holding off a bit until I figure out what this is.

What tranny do you have? auto or manual?

Does it happen louder/quiter if you turn steering wheel to the left/right and move drive from 0 forward/backward?

I have a manual.

If I turn the car on and move the steering wheel left and right, you hear the noise a little bit. Very softly tho. I'm not sure if it's releated.

better think about those suspension pieces you wanted to install. Make sure you got new bushings too. It sounds like they are about gone and allowing the front suspension to move about under acceleration.

What I don't understand is why it only makes the noise right when I move. Noise only happens within 0-15.

If I accelerate hard from a 30 roll it wont make that noise.

At a quick thought it could be either your ball joint's or tie rod ends...

Easy to check jack up car and grab your wheel by the rubber at 9 and 3 o'clock... wiggle it left n right if the sound happens its your tie rod ends ......Now do the same and hold it at 12 and 6 o'clock if the sound happens now it's your ball joint's.......just a thought but maybe it could help ya...

Ps. do this to both front wheels..
