I am f-ing frustrated!

My '97 1.8 (with a new fuel system now) is blowing white smoke that doesn't smell sweet at all. I recently Seafoamed it but I figured THAT smoke all burned off. I've had that off-idle stumble and just replaced the TPS and it seemed to rev better but I'm not sure. Now it's blowing lots of stinky whitish smoke (like it's getting too much fuel) and still has that freakin' roughness the second you rev it but it runs great after that all the way up to 3-4k rpm and up.

I know the symptoms for a blown headgasket, it's always had a bit of that milky mix under the cap but pure, clean oil on the dipstick.

So, no sweet smell (like old bananas!) and not goo on the dipstick but that frigging low rpm thing is still there.

I seriously feel like junking it right about now. Any hope for me?

I have a thread about the TPS but now I'm wondering if it's the FPR?

PS, I got home today to let it really warm up to see if the new TPS worked but after about 15 minutes, it just quit on it's own and wouldn't restart. I checked the relay and it was fine. I jumped the fuel pump but I couldn't hear it so I took it out of the car and jumped it in my hands and it works great. I put it back in and the car fired right up only to run rough and blow that smoke (which I thought had the slightest hint of blue at first).

No, I will try resetting and check back!

Compression was good.

Could this be the FPR dumping too much fuel?

Reset the ecu. started it up and it runs (idles) crappy and I can kill it by stepping on the gas.

???

When I shut it off, it'll start right up but still runs rough.

I replaced Fuel Pump, Crank Pos. Sensor, TPS, plugs/wires, alternator...

I've read a bad O2 sensor and/or a bad FPR could do this. I have no CEL so I have to just keep spending money on stuff that may or may not fix it until I stumble upon the right thing.

Granted I could've saved money on the plugs and wires and the other stuff but what the heck, when I finally fix it, I'll have a bunch of new parts on it.

But I'm running out of money and running out of time.

Hmmmmm, I was just wondering that very thing. Thanks. Too bad it's not registered at the moment.

The only things left I can think of are the O2 and the FPR. Other than physical damage, am I missing anything?
