I need to change oil and I'm looking what oil to choose. I know there was a thread about oil, but I need oppinions about above brands.
What oil would you suggest to use from above?
Have anybody heard about ZIC oil? is it good?

honestly...don't use castrol. ever.
and if you haven't been using synthetic for a while, don't change over to it. If you have any oil leaks anywhere, use a thicker brand like 10w30 or 10w40....no need for you to use 10w60. I have worked with oil, cars, fluids, parts and vehicles in general.
I am bias to Mobil 1, havoline, and shell prooducts. They are good brands.

I have 123,000 miles, but 20,000 miles ago I changed piston rings and sealants.
Now I use Castrol 5W-40 and I don't add oil between oil change.
Why Castrol is bad?

I also like Mobil 1, probably Mobile and Shell are the same quality, but Mobil is less expensive (I wouldn't call it cheaper here).
Castrol I don't have bad experiences with it, but I know they have their products made for them from other local manufacturers and Mobil and Shell allways make their own, I prefer that.

I heard about that Royal Purple.... a lot of people recommend that... but I never used....
I used the Castrol Syntec and Movil 1. Both FULL Synthethic. but I choose the Castrol over the Movil 1...

Royal Purple is great stuff. It is even better for the transmission. WAY BETTER.
It is a preference thing about the oil. I have had problems using castrol in the past and decided to never go back. I use Mobil 1 all the way. When people come to get there cars serviced by me i always suggest either Mobil 1, havoline synthetic (great stuff for the price, made by Havoline/Chevron), or the Shell Synthetic.
