What Is This Hook For?

Vehicle: 1998 Hyundai Tiburon
They are below the tail light housing cover on each side.
I got them out of my other Tiburon that is wrecked. The holes were empty in the one I drive and never knew what went there. Just curious.

They hold your bumper and muffler belt in place.

Yeah, when you buy the net it comes with some little adapter things that replace one of the screws on each side.

Actually they are anchor points for a child seat harness. You may notice some plates that pop out in the cargo area cover. The child seat harness passes though these holes and attaches to the metal hooks at the back.
