make sure to solder the wires together, electrical tape it then put heat wrap over it. a short will happen if the wires touch like mine happened and now my power doors aren't working. what kind of fans do you have? FAL or stock?

no no no, solder and electrical tape is bad
soldering doesn't matter, you can twist and do a good job, but if the wires are going to be exposed (like in the engine bay or under the car or outside anywhere) u NEED ABSOLUTELY to use HEAT SHRINK, and after that I like to loom or tape around it. Failure to do this will result in water shorting it out eventually, take it from me...wink1.gif

i was planning on solder and heat shrink. and water isnt an issue b/c it doesnt get that high in the engine... and if it did i would be worried about bigger issue than a short....

ah, didnt think about that. good insight though smile.gif.
anyways, i got the wiring all done today. Heat Shrink sucks to work with by the way..... I soldered it, heat shrinked it. Then just for good measure i taped it up too. (now it also matches! cool.gif ). Thanks for all the ideas guys.
