The H7 bulb is for the RD2, not the RD1.

H1 should be in your high beams, H7 should be in your low beams. I doubt they're different in Australia. Are your lights blinding people?

Wouldn't the way the connections hook up usually "not" let a different bulb hook up to it?

Kinda like the HID kits, can't hook them up wrong the way they connectors are shaped.

^thats what i tought too, mind you, they bulbs i remolved were exactly identical to the H1's that i had, high beam and low beam bulbs were exaclty the same when i removed them.
and,a ccording to the table on the FAQ, the bulbs i need are 9006 etc, (hb3 and hb4)
so im really confused now :S

i jsut had it out at night now, the level of brightness is good, but i think im outputting too much wattage (130w was written on the boxes) now i feel like its struggling (just a little ) to keep the globes runniing, could be paranoia :s
wat u guys think ? 130w too much?
i just want something that outputs a white-blue color, nothing amazing, the yellow is just too much of a turn-off..
and looks like only H1's will fit in my lowbeam slot, coz the connection and the whole for it are exact h1's
advice
thanx

You need the 9006, not the H7 like I mentioned earlier. I forgot you had RD1.

Go buy some 9006 bulbs and put them into your low beams.

Please address the question in your Introduction thread.
