This is off topic, I know. I don't have one installed because they drain the battery and damage the alternator. It takes too much power from the electrical system for them to generate any real gains. Alot more power then our cars are capable of generating. Google "leaf blower dyno". A electric supercharger is the same as a leaf blower. A leaf blower generates real gains, but I'm not about to install one under my hood because using it is hard on the electrical system.
These performance chips do nothing 90% of the time. At least the one that Libby posted has multiple wires. That makes me think it may do something. The one posted has a power, ground, and signal. This is enough to power a couple of LED with the power and ground and have the light flicker at certain RPM ranges.

And done. Everytime a chip like this comes up its the whole thing all over again. Until someone posts a topic saying they bought one and has a dyno chart to show any gains these threads are pointless. Our ECU will learn right around this just like anything else. If its only changing signals (like a ebay resistor) its not good for the car anyways.
