Well i sold the 2000 tib, but theres good news too!
I have been looking at getting rid of my Tib for a manual and maybe a little newer with less miles. I had looked at a yellow one down in Illinois and me and my dad drove down to look at it and had planned on going to pick it up saturday. Well we found a different one in the paper with only 40,000 miles on it and went and looked at it and ended up buying it. So i now have a 2001 with the manual transmission. Im not the best at driving stick but im getting used to it

thats awesome...
make sure you get that car checked out inside and out. 40K is still alot for our cars. bearings, brakes, clutch... get 'em checked
what color?
driving stick is easy. you'll pick it up quick... and you should go out at night when noone is around and practice on hills

good decision man. stick owns auto. IMO they shouldnt have offered a auto tibby tongue.gif:
u should practice all the tuffer stuff so you dont look stupid in front of your friends, starting on a hill, starting at a light, starting period, downshifting, engine braking, and get your shifts down smoothly while driving normally and then work on spirited driving.

Don't remind me of the first time I went out on the streets with a stick. I had just learned a few hours before, but I just couldn't wait (silly me). I stalled the GSX at a light (left off clutch without enough gas), then got all frustrated and ended up lighting up all four tires with too much gas. ROFLOL, should've seen the people around me's faces.

/ yah i learned stick on my brothers POS mazda truck, had the most tempermental clutch ever but it was a great car to learn on cuz stick was all downhill from there. i tought my best-friend stick and tried to teach my ex-girl stick. my friend picked it up real fast only stalling a few times. my ex would either stall or burnout, i would cringe in pain everytime it stalled and she thought i was getting impatient so she gave up. o well.

When I bought my Tiburon, I didn't know how to use a Manual.. So I taught my self everyday after work and before work. I can't believe I've driven 32,000 miles and my clutch and tranny is still alive after that experiance. Now I'm loving Manual Transmission.... but sometimes when I hit the virginian traffic Jam,, I wish I had a nice Comfortable Sonata Auto or XG Auto..
