I dont remember when i did my timing belt and water pump change but if you are changing your water pump why dont you change your belt while you have everything apart?

Then why didnt you do the water pump? nana.gif
I believe you should be able to get it without removing the timing belt. I am not positive though. Look it up on hmaservice

I changed the pump three months ago. You have to remove the timing belt to get the pump out and in. If you find the trick to remove the pump without removing the belt, please, update.

the belt will block water pump when you pull it out, not to mention on where the pump mounting bolts are... maybe if you can just loosen the belt enough, i don't know... i do my stuff when the engine is off the car
