Vibration while in neutral

well as the title says...when im at a light in neutral, 1000rpm...my steering wheeel goes into a mad vibration spasm.. if i rev up to 2000rpm its gone.. if anyone can explain this to me thatd be great

Yea, I had a similar if not the same problem on my 2001 Tib...when i first got it and came home, it was shakin the car whenever i turned it on and idled...wen i revved it up it kinda dulled down, sound similar? It wound up being a misfiring cylinder, and it needed new spark plugs and wires...so i dunno how similar your case is, but hopefully this could help... smile.gif

could very well be a sign of a slight misfire.. I would treat the car to new plugs and wires before I spent the money for mounts... might want to consider a new airfilter too

Your car is obviously idling too high also, should be at 850 to 900 RPM.
