Turn Signal Issue
#1
i suck at electrical stuff, so i'm hoping someone can help. my turn signals stopped working, so i replaced the blown fuse. it worked for two days and then stopped again. so i'm assuming it's getting too much current, but where does that circuit get it's current (like are there any other accessories or sensor that run off of the same circuit)? where should i look? thanks.

you mess with the hazard switch at all?
im thinking you may have just pinched a power wire and its shorting on something metal, blowing the fuse.
you ever get that other problem fixed?

i've pulled the dash off twice, so i had to unhook the hazard switch. but that's it. but the turn signals worked fine for about two months after i had pulled the dash, so i'm not sure that's it.
no, i haven't fixed the other problem yet becuase i'm an accountant and i'm busting ass right now in tax season. i'm going to wait until after the 15th when i have some time and i'll fix it. <_<

tibby01's got a good point. you may have pinched a wire some where back there when you put it all back together. Maybe check that out. Maybe up the fuse by 5A's that might keep them a bit longer?
Then again I'm prolly worse off than you with this electrical stuff.

both of the turn signals? so you're sure it's the hazard wiring/fuse that's messed up?
usually upping the fuse doesn't hurt anything, but i've heard that it's not good to do that..
if you're sure it's that fuse, then i would take the dash off again and just make sure that the wire for the hazards hasn't been stripped down anywhere and could be touching metal and shorting out when you go over a bump or something..just tape it off.
also, there's a fuse under the hood that holds one tail light (don't remember which one), the interior lights, and one corner lamp too..that fuse f'ed Me up a few weeks ago

please do not up fuses guys. everuthing on the circuit is designed to operate at a maximum specified a little over the fuse rating. makes it very easy to break stuff if you put a higher rated fuse in.
